Lisa Noack, MA, LPCC, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who received a BS in Kinesiology from UCLA and an MS in Professional Clinical Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She also earned an MS in Health Science with an emphasis in Health Promotion from Independence University. Lisa has over 20 years’ experience in the Health and Wellness industries, including working as a Health Education instructor at Moorpark College.
Prior to joining New Beginnings, Lisa worked at a treatment center facilitating various PHP/IOP level mental health, eating disorder, and chemical dependency groups using evidenced-based approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral, Psychodynamic, Dialectical Behavioral, and Experiential. She has worked with clients battling co-occurring disorders and also received Safe Zone training certification, a program that provides skills and discusses issues pertaining to the LGBTQ+ population.
Lisa believes in a holistic, integrative approach to therapy that includes all dimensions of health; mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, and social. She perceives every person who enters therapy as unique and courageous, deserving treatment tailored to their specific needs in a supportive, caring environment. She recognizes the complexities of mental health disorders, chemical dependency, and eating disorders, and this informs her unconditional and empathetic approach. Lisa is passionate about using her professional and personal experience with these health challenges to inspire hope, healing, and lasting change.
