Intensive Outpatient Program

Concierge Designed Services for a Personalized Path to Healing
Our Mental Health IOP offers the resources and support to learn to trust the body's wisdom to heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction, eating disorders, body image issues, chronic pain and other suffering.

Our Programs are uniquely designed with:

Each client's path to well-being is unique and needs to be designed at the body's pace to heal. Our commitment is to work together to provide the best services at the right time.
Our IOP program is generally short-term, with about 12-16 hours of scheduled treatment each week, and is typically a mix of individual, family, and group sessions.

As a participant in The New Beginnings Center Programs, you will meet with your treatment team to create an individualized treatment plan that will attend to your unique needs. Treatment includes, but is not limited to individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, somatic therapies, trauma processing modalities, dialectical behavior therapies, therapeutic movement, dietitian services, mindful eating, expressive therapies, and other ancillary services that may be beneficial for your treatment.

Participation in this program can result in a better understanding of your personal goals, values, thoughts, and feelings, as well as improve relationships, change behavior, and resolve the specific concerns that bring you here. This all requires effort on your part, which may involve emotional discomfort. Change occurs differently for each person, and is often slow and sometimes frustrating. There is; however, no guarantee that treatment will remove all emotional pain. We welcome any questions you may have about the therapeutic process and practices, so please feel free to discuss these with us.

IOP

What does "IOP" mean?

"IOP" stands for "Intensive Outpatient Program." Mental health treatment can take the form of inpatient or outpatient. Inpatient care is done at a mental health facility. Those suffering from severe addictions or depression are examples of patients who might need to receive constant supervision. For many others living at home while participating in outpatient care (support groups, telehealth options, therapist visits, etc.) allows for patients to receive treatment while engaging in daily home, work and community life. An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a plan for those who do not require residential (inpatient) care, but need more structured treatment than a basic outpatient program offers. IOP patients can maintain daily routines while participating in a holistic treatment plan.
